Do you like to Read?

I posted the above quote on my Facebook this afternoon because I am reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. So far, I am really enjoying the book and am entranced on his writing style. A few hours later, a very good friend of mine came to me and made a suggestion for us to start a book club. I never really thought about doing one before but the idea intrigued me. I took to Google and searched out how does one do that, start up a book club.

I stumbled across this free site that allows you to do just that. I really think that’s an awesome thing because this way, he and I can form this group together and hopefully meet new people. I do love meeting new people and interacting with them. What better way to do that than to find things such as that in common with one another?

So, with that said, I would like you all to join (for free) our book club. It’s called “Books Abroad Society”. I like the sound of that because it shows that anyone that wants to can is more than welcome to join our group. I have just started into Chapter 3 of American Gods (the book we will be reading for the Book Club this month) and you all have enough time to check it out at the library or get it at Amazon or somewhere.

On a side note, I love the way the technology of the world is right now because it is allowing people from all over the world to connect just like this. I live in Kentucky and my friend is living in the United Kingdom. However, we can come together to form this idea and shoot off with it.
