Stay Strong
Malice directed,
Same words now said to my friend.
Advise him, “Stay strong.”

This Haiku was written in response to today’s Daily Prompt: Take It From Me
I remember when I graduated in 2000, they played a song at our graduation and it was full of advice.
In the lyrics, the man says, “Be careful whose advice you buy but be patient with those who supply it.Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past
From the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts
And recycling it for more than it’s worth.”
Sometimes, I think it’s easier to give advice than to actually accept it.
Hope you are all well and have a fantastic weekend.
