Growing Up, Interviews, People, Work

Talking with my hands

Finally finished with a job interview today, I noticed something about myself that is kind of strange. I am under the assumption that if I had no arms or hands, I simply would not be able to talk at all.

When we entered the room, the lady did an overview of what the group interview would consist of and how the format would be. Every time it was my turn to speak, I noticed the more detailed I got the more my arms moved. I’m not even sure as to why I even noticed it so greatly today but I did and I am pretty sure that I do it quite often. The more excited I got, the faster they moved.

Elaboration: I don’t mean I took on the characteristics of a helicopter, although the mental image is quite amusing at the moment.

In any case, I thanked the lady for interviewing me and I really think it went well. The company I’ve applied for has amazing benefits, a wonderful schedule that coincides with my odd sleeping habits, and it is only twenty minutes from my apartment.

In summary, the last three business days I have had a total of four interviews in total. I really hope that I gain employment in the very near future. Hopefully, I will be working at the place I just returned from.

I hope everyone has had a great day, even though it is Monday and incredibly rainy. Speaking of which, I am going to nap for a few. Maybe my dreams will inspire me to write more poems or even a short story.

Love and God bless!

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ I have a 3 day a week job right now with 7pm-7am until I find something else but it’s a start.

I have kind of taken a step back from the FB/Twitter world for a bit just to breathe honestly. I elaborate more in the blog a few days ago here: http://focalbreeze.com/2012/09/26/goodbye-to-facebook-and-twitter/

I may be back but right now…just too much drama rama about politics/religion

I’ll be keeping this blog and youtube so i won’t totally shut out people πŸ™‚ Especially my lil bro from across the pond!
